The Dominguez watershed runs from the southern edge of Inglewood, south through Hawthorne, Gardena, parts of LA City and County and the city of Carson. The Dominguez Channel, as it is now known, is the primary drainage path for storm water runoff in this part of Los Angeles’ South Bay but not too many decades ago it was a working stream and wetlands area.

We believe that the lessons and successes of Los Angeles’ other watershed renovations can be applied equally in the Dominguez watershed bringing recreation and nature back into areas that sorely need it.
